Brain Bee!

Today was our third 4A Day of the year and we had a blast! Students created costumes, banners, and some very creative chants for the day. We got to exercise our brains through all kinds of activities: jeopardy, mentos geysers, heads up, math games, and so much more!  I can’t believe it’s already come and gone!  Now we get to look forward to our last 4A and possibly a student favorite – Field Day!

First Grade Fun!

First grade has been learning about simple machines.  Today we took our learning out of the classroom and discovered the steps and all the machinery that goes into making a stuffed teddy bear!  We had an amazing time touring Stuffington Bear Factory, and learning the history of the teddy bear!  We topped our day off with a picnic in the park.  What a great day! Thank you to all of our fabulous chaperones for spending your day with us!Photo 1

Pinnacle’s Pickings

image1.jpegGardening time is fun time for us here at Pinnacle. With the weather warming up we are forced to pick our Winter garden a little early to get ready for Spring planting. Although I will miss seeing the sea of lettuce peaking over the edge of the Garden Pod 3, I am looking forward to teaching our little ones about the transition to Spring/Summer Gardening. Be watching for updates on what’s growing at Pinnacle.
