Funeral Alternate Route

There will be a funeral procession for a fallen firefighter this afternoon. It is supposed to end at 2pm, but with the rain and wet streets, it might run longer than expected. We wanted to make sure that you were aware of alternate routes to get to the school, just in case it runs into dismissal. You may come in from 72nd Ave and Happy Valley or you may come in from 71st and Deer Valley.

Dental Health

Pinnacle students in kindergarten through second grade learned all about the importance of caring for our teeth and how to keep them clean! We learned all about the 2 rule (we must brush our teeth 2 times a day, for 2 minutes, and visit the dentist 2 times a year) and we learned about our 3 special areas we have to take care of (our gums, our teeth WAY in the back, and our tongue). We had a lot of fun learning how to care for our teeth, thank you West Valley Pediatric Dentistry for taking the time to share these important tips with us!

Famous Times at PPA

Second grade has been working very hard on their biography book reports and today they were able to share all that they have been learning with their classes! The students also had the opportunity to try some astronaut ice cream, wow! Everywhere you looked today, you saw someone famous! Neil Armstrong, Amelia Earhart, Helen Keller, George Washington, and Walt Disney were just a few of the amazing people who made history that we saw walking around campus today!
