International Preparations Across Campus

Students have been working hard across the campus to prepare for Tour Around the World. Ms. Laspe’s Second Grade class had a special guest visitor who chatted with the class all about her adventures across the world.

Ms. Shaw’s Third Grade class was working hard on their Aboriginal paintings utilizing paints and q-tips to generate their masterpieces. I cannot wait to see them all completed on Thursday night!

Brrr… It is Getting Cold in Second Grade!

Students have been learning all about Antarctica in Ms. Laspe’s class, including the benefits of igloos. The second graders even got to build their own version of the chilly structures today, utilizing cups and sugar cubes. I cannot wait to see the finished products. Come see them in person at our Tour Around the World event on Thursday night!

World Travelers!

We will see you all at our Tour Around the World community event on Thursday, March 1st from 5:30pm-7:30pm where our Panthers will become world travelers! Each grade has chosen a continent to research and explore throughout the last few months and they have spent weeks transforming their classrooms into the designated continent. Between the food, student work, and traditional attire of each continent, it is definitely one of my favorite events of the year!

We will also be showcasing photos of our Panthers and their families traveling the world! If you have any fun pictures that you would like to have displayed at our Tour Around the World event of your adventures, please email them to me (afallon@pointeschools.org) by Tuesday, February 27th.
