Donut Stress About It!

Congratulations 3rd – 6th graders! We are half way through our state testing! You are doing an amazing job and we are all so proud of you! Do not forget about our special donut and pizza party on Friday afternoon to celebrate another successful week of testing!

A special “thank you” to the Kindergarten – 2nd graders who are doing an incredible job respecting our test takers!

Dodeca-what?

Arizona Dodecahedrons!

Students in Ms. Wade’s fourth grade class reviewed all of the material that they learned about our great state when creating Arizona dodecahedron reports. The dodecahedrons (a 12-sided 3D figure) were a blast to put together and turned out absolutely amazing! I was so impressed by the amount of detail put in the reports by each student. Great job fourth graders!

Spring Conferences!

Second semester Parent/Teacher/Student conferences will take place on Thursday, February 21st and Friday, February 22nd. These conferences present an important opportunity for us to discuss your child’s progress and set specific goals for the remainder of the school year. It is strongly encouraged that you attend with your child.

Students will have early releases on Thursday, February 21st and Friday, February 22nd beginning at 12pm. After 12:30pm, all students who have been previously signed up for Panther’s Den will be welcomed there. As always on Early Release days, the Café will be closed so all students in in Panther’s Den must bring lunch.

For scheduling purposes, all of our teachers will be using the website signupgenius.com to schedule Parent-Teacher Conferences. You can access the electronic conference sign-up by visiting the teacher’s webpage under “Contact/Inform Us” on our website.

Yeast or Terrifying Monster?

Fourth graders in Ms. Wade’s class recently read “The Case of the Gasping Garbage” – a story about a kid who thought that some yeast in a garbage can was a monster! Not only did students enjoy the story, but they learned that yeast is used to make bread fluffy and delicious. On Friday, students got to watch a loaf of bread bake during class and afterwards enjoyed their tasty creation…yum!

Enrollment Season for the 2019 – 2020 school year has officially begun! Although we have an incredible second half of this year left, we are excited to already be planning for next year!

I strongly believe that much of Pinnacle’s success comes from our commitment to being a family. As you all know, we pride ourselves on creating a community-focused environment that strives for academic excellence while also providing students with the freedom and courage to try new things.

Do you have other family members or friends with school age children? I encourage you to invite them to come visit our beautiful campus and consider becoming part of the Panther family. Interested families may schedule a tour by phone, emailing me directly, or using our website. Families may also attend one of our scheduled evening tours. Please see the dates below of some of our upcoming evening tours:

Do you currently have a kiddo between the ages of 2-5 years old? Have you considered enrolling him/her in Starting Pointe? Our preschool has been designed to provide a superior academic and social foundation for early learners in a safe, positive environment. Enrollment information is available in the front office and on our website. Of course, I would also be happy to personally show you our fabulous preschool!
