Campus Tour Tonight, 6pm

Potential new families are welcome to join me tonight as I showcase our beautiful campus to families in our first evening Campus Tour of 2019!

Enrollment Season for the 2019 – 2020 school year has officially begun! Although we have an incredible second half of this year left, we are excited to already be planning for next year!

I strongly believe that much of Pinnacle’s success comes from our commitment to being a family. As you all know, we pride ourselves on creating a community-focused environment that strives for academic excellence while also providing students with the freedom and courage to try new things.

Do you have other family members or friends with school age children? I encourage you to invite them to come visit our beautiful campus and consider becoming part of the Panther family. Interested families may schedule a tour by phone, emailing me directly, or using our website. Families may also attend one of our scheduled evening tours. Please see the dates below of some of our upcoming evening tours:

Do you currently have a kiddo between the ages of 2-5 years old? Have you considered enrolling him/her in Starting Pointe? Our preschool has been designed to provide a superior academic and social foundation for early learners in a safe, positive environment. Enrollment information is available in the front office and on our website. Of course, I would also be happy to personally show you our fabulous preschool!

Candyland Christmas!

Today, our students treated us to a sweet production of a Candyland Christmas to celebrate the Holiday Season. We watched all kinds of candy-themed performances including Marshmallow World, 12 Days of Christmas (candy-style), and The Best Gift. Our incredible emcees, Brooke and Sanel, lead us through the performances while cracking some fantastically punny jokes! Thank you for joining us and great job, Panthers!

Star Wars & Sock Hops

This week is our Staff Appreciation Week! Thank you, Teachers and Staff for helping our students each day and being such an important part of our community! In honor of our teachers and our Star-Wars-themed Staff Appreciation Week, we will be having a special Star Wars dress down day on Wednesday, 5/9! As usual, attire must be school appropriate and no toys or props may be brought. I cannot wait to see your best Star Wars gear!

We will also be having a 1950’s Sock Hop dress down day on Friday, 5/11, in honor of the Grease production at North Pointe. We will see you Friday in your poodle skirts, rolled up jeans, and white shirts (or any fifties accessories you have)!

Parent University – Thursday 12/7 at 6pm

Dear Pinnacle Pointe Academy Family,

Please join us on Thursday, December 7th at 6pm, in room 302, for special presentation from the Arizona Attorney General’s office on Human Trafficking. This presentation will discuss the crime of human trafficking as well as providing National and Arizona statistics. As human trafficking happen in every community throughout Arizona, the presentation will discuss how traffickers find their victims, the intersection of social media and human trafficking, and steps parents can take to protect their children. This presentation will also provide examples of warning signs and what you should do if you suspect someone may be a victim of human trafficking.

This presentation will be extremely informative! Light refreshments will also be served!

Parent University – Internet Safety

Tonight, we had our first Parent University of the year and it was extremely informative. Lucia Artaega from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office came to discuss topics on internet safety including cyber bullying, social media sites, and potential online threats.

If you were unable to attend the event, Ms, Artaega provided additional resources for families available in the Front Office so come on by and snag one!
