Calling all 5th and 6th graders! Join us tonight for our Snapshot from 6-7pm at North Pointe Prep (10215 N 43rd Avenue Phoenix, Arizona 85051). This Snapshot will feature the Reality Showcase where upperclassmen compete in dance, song, lip-synch, and overall talent. Don’t miss this spectacular show!
Mrs. Grobnagger’s first grade class has been learning about life cycles. They have been growing caterpillars and they have now become beautiful butterflies. They have set them free to live in their natural habitat.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to our annual Veteran’s Day assembly! Our classes honored Veterans through poems, songs, skits, and readings. Congratulations to C.C. who won the annual Veteran’s Day Essay contest!
Pinnacle Pointe Academy will hold a Veteran’s Day Assembly on Friday (11/10) at 9:30am.
All parents, guardians, and family members are welcomed to attend our Veteran’s Day Assembly. Several classes will participate in the assembly honoring veterans through songs, poems, and presentations. Pinnacle will be holding a 4th-6th grade essay contest and the winning essay will be announced and read during the assembly.
Students are welcomed to dress in patriotic attire on Friday 11/10.
Our sixth graders worked on a fun group math project. They applied the concepts of mean, median, mode, and range to complete a multi-step real world project that involved counting skittles and gathering data from several groups of students. At the end, they created a graph to record the information they gathered. It was fun to see them focus so intensely and work cooperatively to gather data while working with candy!
On Tuesday, fourth graders in Ms.Wade’s class wrapped up their Plant unit by dissecting a flower. During the unit, students learned how flowers reproduce. In this activity, students were challenged to locate and examine the petals, stamen, pollen, pistil and stem. It was a fun, hands-on learning experience!
Dear Pinnacle Pointe Families,
First semester Parent/Teacher conferences will take place on Thursday, October 26th and Friday, October 27th. These conferences present an important opportunity for you and your child’s teacher to discuss your student’s progress and set specific goals for the school year.
Students will have early releases on Thursday, October 26th and Friday, October 27th beginning at 12pm. After 12:30pm, all students who have been previously signed up for our free After School Program, will be welcomed there. As always on Early Release days, lunch will not be served so all students in our After-School Program must bring a sack lunch.
For scheduling purposes, all Pinnacle Pointe Academy teachers will be using the website signupgenius.com to schedule Parent-Teacher Conferences. Please contact your student’s teacher for the sign-up link!
