Mrs. Brandt’s kinder kiddos have been wonderful butterfly parents over the last couple weeks! Today they set them free, some of them didn’t want to go too far, but we wish them all a safe and happy journey!
Over the past few weeks, the first graders in Ms. Dawson’s class have learned about the colonists journey to independence. Today they celebrated with a tea party!
Pinnacle students in kindergarten through second grade learned all about the importance of caring for our teeth and how to keep them clean! We learned all about the 2 rule (we must brush our teeth 2 times a day, for 2 minutes, and visit the dentist 2 times a year) and we learned about our 3 special areas we have to take care of (our gums, our teeth WAY in the back, and our tongue). We had a lot of fun learning how to care for our teeth, thank you West Valley Pediatric Dentistry for taking the time to share these important tips with us!
Second grade has been working very hard on their biography book reports and today they were able to share all that they have been learning with their classes! The students also had the opportunity to try some astronaut ice cream, wow! Everywhere you looked today, you saw someone famous! Neil Armstrong, Amelia Earhart, Helen Keller, George Washington, and Walt Disney were just a few of the amazing people who made history that we saw walking around campus today!
Today our second graders had a blast with marble art, creating beautiful masterpieces for their Valentine’s Day cards!
Our Kindergarten classes had a special opportunity to take their learning to the next level with some taste testing!! Mrs. Hooley’s Greek Gods and Goddesses were able to sample some greek yogurt, pita, and delicious butter cookies! Mrs. Brandt’s royal kinders were able to sample some tea and crumpets, while dining with the Queen of England! All in all, everything got two big thumbs up! Yummy!
