6th/7th Grade Camp was a Blast!

Our Junior High kiddos had a day (and night) of adventure last week at their annual camp! They began their days with lunch and a show at Medieval Times. Scholars then headed to Great Wolf Lodge to enjoy some water fun! Finally, they headed back to Pinnacle where they spent the night in the Cafe after watching Avatar: Way of the Water.

I loved spending my last camp trip with you all! Thank you being amazing Junior High!

Water Day Volunteers

Friday, May 12th, is our annual Water Day! Students will remain with their classes as they rotate through water slides/activities. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please let us know!

If you do not want your child to participate in any Water Day activities, please let the front office know and other activities will be made available for them during the event.

What to Bring  (all labelled with the student’s first name and last initial)
Swim Suit
Water Bottle
Flip Flops or Sandals (no shoes/socks)
Towel
Extra Pair of Dress-down Clothes

Important Reminders
Please, apply sunscreen to your child before you drop them off for school. Students may bring sunscreen with them and apply it to themselves as needed, however, sunscreen will not be provided.

It is also a half day! We will try to have students as dry as possible prior to pick-up but as the fun will be going straight through until the end of the morning, they may still be a bit soaked for the car ride!

Fierce Battles

Congratulations to all of the Panthers who competed in our Fifth Annual Chess Tournament!

I am always so impressed by each of you giving it your best shot, regardless of chess experience. You all were amazing in your chess skills and sportsmanship throughout the tournament but there could only be one champion. Our final two competitors, Braden and Samuel, faced each other in a fierce battle last week resulting in Braden being named the “2023 Pinnacle Chess Champion…of the World”.

Chess Anyone?

Next week, scholars will compete in our Fifth Annual Chess Tournament! The tournament is open to scholars of all abilities and will be done through an elimination bracket for a chance to win a fabulous new chess set and the title of “2023 Pinnacle Chess Champion…of the World!”

If your 2nd – 7th grader would like to participate, please ensure they have signed up in the front office! I encourage all scholars to give it a try!

BINGO was a Blast!

Thank you all for coming out to join us for our BINGO for books event! Scholars played five rounds of BINGO in hopes of winning some incredible book baskets. We also held periodic raffles for more books and the much-anticipated Dog Man & Petey prize basket. We appreciate you taking time to join us for such a fun family event and look forward to the next one!
